About Me: 22 Years old from Overland, Missouri. Been bowling since I was 3 years old and loved the sport since then. I've competed in two Junior Olympic Gold tournaments.

Indianapolis, Indiana, I placed 495th, which was my first Junior Gold appearance. Best thing about that tournament was that I only missed one 9 count the whole tournament, so that was my big accomplishment of the actual tournament. Bowled the Gold Survivors that year, and shot a 289, and received a $250 scholarship for my overall standing in the tournament.

The next year, Junior Olympic Gold was in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This was a very good year for me in JOG, and contained one of my most memorable, and proudest, bowling days of my career. At Boca Bowl, the shortest pattern, I shot games of:

    210, 191, 196, 202, 198, 224

Which may not sound like much, but to go plus on one of these squads is very demanding, and quite the accomplishment. That day, I was averaging about 25 mph throwing straight up 14. The accomplishment was being able to go up there and repeat that shot over and over again. Just quite the accomplishment to me, and if I ever need my bowling moral boosted, I think back to that day...wishing I had a camcorder to capture it all.

Other than JOGs, I haven't competed in anything very big. I moved up to the adult rankings this year and bowling in Missouri's "Greater Ozarks Classic" where I didn't do too hot in the team or doubles event, but did shoot 684 in the singles event, which I'm pretty happy with.

Other accomplishments. I've bowled 300 sanctioned four times. On February 4th of this year, I bowled games of 257, 248, 299, for an 804 series. This was bowled at AMF Strike & Spare lanes on the end pair of 47 & 48, throwing a MoRich Total Shock & Awe on the left lane, and an AMF Nighthawk Torque Pearl on the right lane. I've also picked the 7-10 sanctioned 4 times, and unsanctioned an additional 10 times.

On my normal THS shots, I average 21 mph on strike shots and 25 mph on spare shots. Able to adjust the speed down to 15 mph. Over the years, I have developed many different wrist positions, and worked on varying my shots and consistency. When warmed up, I am able to hit a dime 4 out of 5 times at my breakpoint, last time I tried it.

All in all, I've been bowling for 19 years and I absolutely love the game. I plan on going to at least two tour stops this year to see what I'm about. I'm all about MoRich.

    My current league arsenal is:

MoRich Awesome Hook, MoRich Total Shock & Awe, MoRich Pioneer, MoRich Weapon of Mass Bias, Brunswick Impact Zone, Brunswick Punisher, Brunswick Target Zone. In the trunk, I usually have a Lane #1 Enriched Uranium, and a Columbia 300 Action.

A start to a great thing

Ricky, not everyone puts where they are from. I found yours on the front page of bowl space. If I know a person by name I will search for them by name.
